Flame Nebula | NGC 2024
The Flame Nebula (NGC 2024) is a striking emission nebula located in the constellation Orion, approximately 1,400 light-years from Earth. Illuminated by the intense radiation of nearby young stars, its fiery appearance arises from glowing hydrogen gas and intricate dark dust lanes.
