Orion Nebula | M42 | NGC 1976
One of the few objects we’ve imaged that is visible to the unaided eye, the Orion Nebula is situated a mere 1,400 light years away. In the heart of this nebula, the Trapezium star cluster’s powerful stellar winds give rise to its distinctive shape.
