Nearly 200,000 light-years away, the Small Magellanic Cloud is a dwarf irregular galaxy that orbits the Milky Way. Consisting of an estimated three billion stars and adorned with star clusters and supernova remnants, it exemplifies a dynamic stellar landscape.
